CCTV INSPECTION
A practical way to detect leaks, structural defects, and other adverse conditions
One of the most important steps in maintaining a sewer collection system is to perform CCTV inspection, which also helps in meeting Capacity, Management, Operation, and Maintenance (CMOM) guidelines. If a sewer system repair and rehabilitation project is planned, getting accurate and reliable information about the pipeline’s condition, manhole location, and accessibility is key.
Green Mountain Pipeline Services offers extensive sewer system inspection using state-of-the-art CCTV equipment that enables us to remotely view, televise, and record information about mainline sewers and laterals within pipe sizes from 2 inches to 60 inches in diameter.
CCTV is a practical and precise means for confirming and locating the internal conditions of pipelines, such as:
- Determining the effectiveness of a sewer maintenance cleaning program
- Mainline and branch piping leaks and structural defects, including broken, collapsed, and deteriorated pipe
- Abnormal joint conditions
- Defects in grade
- Pipe size changes
- Protruding pipe connections
- Root penetration and other obstructions
Digital TV inspection by our highly experienced technicians means we are able to overcome difficult project situations and easily identify and document the exact locations of inflow and infiltration (I&I) sources within any sewer system – without the need for costly excavation.
Our experts are trained and certified by the National Association of Sewer Service Companies’ Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (NASSCO/PACP). We also have extensive experience and capabilities in remote inspections of pipes and structures such as dam outlet works.
